Northair Mine

We took a little detour on our return home and popped in at Northair Mine. The drive up was quite bumpy and the access road was a little degraded. Nonetheless it was a scenic drive, and the temperature dropped quite a bit, we were just below the snow line. Reports said the snow had just cleared by early May.

The old mine structure foundations are still there, though there's nothing left of the rest of it. All the walls are covered in really cool graffiti, and it looks like someone painted a new Lunchroom sign on cement, over top of some old graffiti.

Canadian Wilderness Adventures (CWA) runs tours all throughout the area. They have built and use many trails all around the area. In the actual mine area they created some features for dirt bikes and ATVs to play on.
