New Shaw internet

So we finally got our new Shaw internet. 15up/150down.
The price is OK, but it's locked in for two years. Shaw has been steadily increasing their rates to the limit the regulations allow. We were paying $50/mo for 3up/75down a few years ago, and for the last couple months we've been paying almost $70/mo for 2up/30down. I kept downgrading our service to keep from paying Shaw's outrageous prices.

It's locked in at $79/mo for two years, though Shaw says its value should be $150/mo which is utterly ridiculous. It's a frog in the pot situation. Their MBAs must have dialed in on two years being the key inertia point, when they'll jack the prices through the roof again and nobody will switch.

Oh, yeah. The IP address isn't hidden because I spoofed my MAC address for this test.
How else did you think I got the same IP on two different pieces of network gear?
